Sanctuary of Rest
– Anchor Your Body & Mind Before the Festive Season –
Give yourself the gift of stillness and deep rest before the holiday rush. This workshop is an invitation to intentionally shift out of the pace of everyday life towards nervous system down regulation. Through restorative Yoga, somatic practices, myofascial release, Thai massage inspired assists and Yoga Nidra, you’ll be held in a sanctuary for your body and mind, leaving you deeply resourced for the festive season.
Sunday 29th November, 2-5pm at Warrior&Wild
Nervous System Regulation • Restorative Yoga • Myofascial Release (MFR) • Thai-massage assists • Yoga Nidra
As the festive season approaches, life can begin to feel busy, demanding and at times overwhelming. At a time of year that often asks us to do more, the Sanctuary of Rest offers an intentional pause to do less.
This immersive workshop is centred around nervous system down regulation – creating the conditions for the body to rest, soften and shift towards a deeper sense of restoration.
Through a carefully curated blend of:
- Nervous system regulation to support greater embodied awareness
- Restorative Yoga to encourage slowing down and stillness
- Guided self-myofascial release (MFR) techniques to release held tension
- Thai massage-inspired hands-on assists for a nurturing touch
- Yoga Nidra for deep rest and integration
… We’ll explore what it feels like to slow down, receive and allow the nervous system to settle.
The intention for this day is to offer a sanctuary of rest before the December rush — an intentional space to ground your body and mind, so you can enter the holidays with greater ease.
Come as you are. No prior experience is necessary, just an openness to receive and explore.
